Welcome to the Palestine Land Society Competition

The competition aims to secure the best design in an annual contest for the reconstruction of Palestinian villages destroyed in 1948. The Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948 depopulated 675 towns and villages mostly destroyed. Documentation is provided herein for most of the destroyed villages with the purpose of redesigning these villages on the same village site but with updated conditions of population and services.
The documentation on each village includes 6 maps (Annotation in Arabic and English) and a report (In Arabic and in English loosely translated by Google-not accurate) for each village. There are other data provided for the participating students.
